Symbiosis Photography Club

Photography, we believe, is one of the best ways to portray and appreciate art and beauty. For someone interested in beauty, he doesn’t need anybody to tell him to click a pic when he sees something beautiful. It is to develop this natural instinct, that we decided to form a club where this art can be appreciated and developed.

Photography Club is the most enthusiastic & active club of SSE. It's a group of people who share a common passion for photography. This club works tirelessly to make every moment in SSE as a unforgettable event by catching up it in its cameras. The club encourages amateur photographers and beginners interested in learning the techniques of photography. Also the club plans to have a photography competition. We see the first year as one with a mild but a strong base for the club and are optimistic about activities in future.

Theatron

‘Theatron’ has been established to provide an opportunity for students interested in theater to participate in all aspects of play production.  Students interested in performance, direction, design, technical support, backstage crafts, publicity, etc., are encouraged to join. ‘Theatron’ a word of ancient origin meaning, ‘The seeing Place’ (i.e., theatre) relates to our club very well. Theatre is the branch of performing arts, it is “what occurs when one or persons isolated in time and/or space, present themselves to another or others by the use of speech, gesture, music, dance, etc.
Through this club we intend to organize theatre workshops, conduct streetplays on social issues and participating in the various inter-college competitions, recently the members of the club attended a workshop conducted by Mr. Pradeep Vaidaya, a known Marathi theater artist in the college auditorium. We plan to take up more activities like these in future as well. ‘Theatron’ is for all those who believe in expressing their feelings not just through their speech but much more than that….

Sports Club

Sports are everywhere, developing as well as developed economies, rich as well as poor, VIPs to celebrities to common man and the list is endless…. If sports is so widely spread how can it be away from SSE?
As a part of activities under this club, our club organized an intra-institutional volleyball match, which was a great success. This is just a start. Next thing on our agenda is the much awaited Basket ball and Badminton tournaments which would be held in the month of February.
Our future plans have games like soccer, cricket, swimming and son on…. The best is yet to come!

Choreography Club

A bit of feet tapping, music and a stage is just what a person needs to dance. But in SSE we have a ‘Choreography Club’. It has been formed with the purpose of bringing together all those who enjoy dancing and would like to be a part of this fun activity. The ‘Choreography Club’ also provides a platform to its members to showcase their dancing talent in Inter and Intra Collegiate competitions. The highlight this year for  Choreography  Club was our participation and success in several inter-college fests  It’s been a great year and we look forward to more dancing!

Cine Club

Our generation is a movie fanatic. It  is this common interest, that initiated the idea for the club. We think that the best way to bid adieu to a week is by having some quality, educative and thought provoking motion pictures.

The club has dedicated itself to the cause of screening technically brilliant and thought provoking movies. Every weekend we screen those movies which may not have made hits in the box office, but are definitely noticed by critics and have received critical acclaim and appreciation..............................Movies with content.........................................Movies to be watched.

Club Imagination

Creativity is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wildness of your intuitions. What you will discover will be wonderful. What you will discover is yourself – and this is the motto of Club IMAGINATION. Imagination is how we see life in writing melodies of poems, in crazy one liners for our college sweat shirt which describes us better than anything else, in random scraps put together on a collage that spell our moments in every mood and everything. Club Imagination plans to do all of the above and justify its name. It even plans to take part in inter-college festivals. It plans to make posters regularly for the college to keep it fun and full of life. It also takes up the responsibilities of designing brochures, magazine covers, etc., for the college.
